GRTC and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden are partnering to help the community celebrate a free Fourth of July with transportation to one of the region’s most popular holiday traditions.

On Saturday, July 4, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will offer free admission from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., inviting visitors to enjoy a day of gardens and family friendly activities.

To help make the event more accessible, GRTC will provide complimentary shuttle service between the Downtown Transfer Station and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden throughout the day.

The universally-accessible Klaus Family Tree House will be open for all visitors to enjoy, as will Waterway splash pad in the Children’s Garden. Visitors can explore the outdoor art exhibition, Alebrijes: Creatures of a Dreamworld, with installations located throughout both the existing and new areas of the Garden.

The Kelly Education Center and Robins Visitor Center are offering three new art exhibitions: Brought to Light, Larger than Life by Bailey Lonon, No Reliable Data Available by Tim Harper, and Blossoms and Bugs by David Amoroso.
Access to Butterflies Bloom will be limited by capacity.
