Career and resource workshop planned Sept. 24 in Eastern Henrico
American Legion Varina Post 233, Virginia Works and Henrico County Recreation and Parks will host a career and resource workshop Thursday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 North Laburnum Avenue.
The event is intended for community members, veterans, active-duty service members and their families. It will feature a job fair and networking, résumé reviews, interview preparation, military-to-civilian transition support, information about American Legion programs, education and training opportunities, and scouting and mentoring resources.
