National lacrosse retailer Lacrosse Unlimited is coming soon to the former GameStop space in the Ridge Shopping Center in Western Henrico, Richmond BizSense recently reported. The store sells equipment, supplies and apparel needed for the game. It is Lacrosse Unlimited’s first store in the Richmond region.

Leadership Metro Richmond will host its annual Board Connector event at Richmond Raceway, 600 East Laburnum Avenue, on Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Board Connector is an open-house-style networking gathering that connects service-minded individuals with 40+ nonprofit organizations actively seeking new board and committee members. This casual event takes place in the open-air pit crew garage bays located inside the racetrack. Attendees will receive a welcome packet with helpful information including a list of participating organizations, the skills and experience they are seeking in new board members, and more.
