The owner of the Chicken Fiesta restaurant chain is developing a ranch and event venue on land he owns in Varina, Richmond BizSense recently reported. Harold Vega is imagining a new restaurant with an equestrian center and barn on the 114-acre property at 3801 Darbytown Road. The restaurant would be a steakhouse concept, and guests could take horseback rides and visit the animals after their meals. The ranch also would have a riding ring and be open for weddings and other events.
