British singer-songwriter Graham Nash cancels July 31 Lewis Ginter performance; Rumours ATL still scheduled for July 30

British singer-songwriter Graham Nash, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame rose to fame as a member of Crosby, Stills and Nash, announced July 29 that he would cancel his planned July 31 performance at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden to stand in solidarity with Garden workers who are seeking higher pay.

Nash became the second artist to cancel an appearance at the Garden, following the announcement earlier Wednesday that Jesse Welles – who was scheduled to play that night – had made the same decision.

Workers at the Garden have been negotiating for higher pay for months and have held several strikes and demonstrations outside the Garden's entrance to draw attention to their cause.
