Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will hold its Fall Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 19-20 in Parking Lot B. Dozens of vendors and knowledgeable Garden volunteers will be on hand to help guests choose the best plants and other garden-related items. Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists will be on-site to answer plant questions. A portion of vendor proceeds will be donated to Lewis Ginter. Leashed dogs are welcome. Radio Poder 1380AM will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by hosting ¡Virginia Fiesta! at Dorey Park on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Now in its fourth year, ¡Virginia Fiesta! is a celebration of the Latino/Hispanic cultures in Virginia. The day will include a community fair, vendors, the Dorey Park Farmers Market in the morning, a children's story time, cultural performances, food and more. Henrico Recreation and Parks will present HenBIKEo at Crump Park on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cyclocross (CX) races will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Click here to register. Additionally, there will be a bike beauty pageant featuring local fabricators and a vendor expo with cycling businesses, organizations and nonprofits, as well as bike shops with demo bikes. A live recording of The Wheel Community podcast will take place and biking clinics/informational cycling classes will be offered. St. Mary And St. Philopater Mercurius Coptic Orthodox Church will host its 6th Annual Egyptian Festival from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 20 and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 21. Experience the sights, sounds and flavors of Egypt. There will be authentic Egyptian food and drinks, Pharaonic and Christian heritage shows, kid-friendly activities, henna tattoos, Mediterranean merchandise and vendors, and more. Attendees can also take a guided church tour, meet the Egyptian community, and learn about the Coptic Orthodox Church. The church is located at 2101 Fordson Road in Henrico's West End. Nonprofit organization Culture Encounters will host the 2nd Annual Richmond International Dance Festival on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Deep Run Park & Recreation Center. The event will include live performances, interactive dance workshops for all ages, kids' activities, a Parade of Nations, global food trucks, cultural vendors, and more. The festival aims to unite attendees of all backgrounds, fostering understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity. This year’s festival coincides with National Dance Day. Admission is free.
