The Henrico Theatre Company will present "8 Track: The Sounds of the 70s" by Rick Seeber at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen at 7 p.m. Aug. 1-2 and at 3 p.m. Aug. 3. Back by popular demand, "8 Track" is a fast-paced musical romp through one of the most impassioned decades ever. Directed by Amy Perdue. Tickets are $10 to $12. Odd Balls Collectibles and Claire's Antiques, located in the Merchant's Walk Shopping Center on West Broad Street, will hold its Summerween (Halloween) Family Fun Weekend event Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Aug. 3 from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The store will be decorated for Halloween with spooky music playing throughout. Kids and pets are encouraged to dress up and participate in indoor trick-or-treating. Halloween characters will be on site for free pictures on Aug. 2 from noon to 2 p.m. Over 100 indoor vendors will be selling antiques, collectibles, furniture, jewelry, home decor, vintage toys, sports memorabilia, video games, and more. The Virginia Outdoor Sportsman Show will be held at the Richmond Raceway Complex from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 1, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 2, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 3. Virginia's largest sportsman show and home of the annual VPSA Big Game Contest, this three-day event features seminars, demos, kids' activities, attractions and exhibitors. HATTheatre's Spotlight Series will present "The Alibis" Saturday, Aug. 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 3 at 2:30 p.m. Featuring students from HATTheatre's adult classes, "The Alibis" is a collection of eight crime ridden comedies, a rogue's gallery of ten-minute plays wrapped in a classic who-dun-it. When eccentric billionaire J. Leslie Arlington is murdered, a clueless detective finds the suspects are all reluctant to admit their alibis - because they were all committing other ridiculous crimes at the time. West Broad Village will host a series of Movies Under the Stars on select Saturdays this summer. The events will take place on The Lawn from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Movies will begin at dusk, approximately 8:30 p.m. The film on Aug. 2 is Moana 2. Admission is free and open to the public.
