Rising singer-songwriter Eli Lev will perform at the Henrico Theatre on Friday, July 11 at 7 p.m. A cross between The Avett Brothers and The Lumineers, Maryland-based Lev has opened for both Shooter Jennings and Lee DeWyze in addition to touring extensively around the world. His latest project, an EP called "Present Journey," is inspired by his current life stage as a middle-aged, full time independent musician. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at henricotheatre.com. The Showmasters Richmond Gun Show will take place at the Richmond Raceway Complex from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 12 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 13. There will be 800 tables selling a diverse range of handguns, rifles, shotguns and antique pistols, as well as ammunition, holsters, safes, carbines, swords, knives, early Indian and Western Americana, militaria of all wars, coins, and more. Concealed carry classes will be offered too. Admission for adults is $11 cash or $12 via credit card. The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen will host a Maker's Yard Sale on Saturday, July 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shop for new materials and art supplies, including fabric, beads, books, frames, scrapbook materials, home decor crafts, alcohol markers, polymer clay, soap-making molds and scents, yarn, blank canvases, paint, jewelry-making supplies, paper-crafting supplies, and more. The East End Street Fair will take place Saturday, July 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Occasions Event Hall, 6015 Nine Mile Road in Highland Springs. The fair will feature exhibitors showcasing products and services, live entertainment from local artists, food, and a Kid Zone with fun activities for children. The East End Street Fair was founded in 2024 to bring liveliness, culture, and fun back to the heart of the community. Admission is free. Henrico Recreation and Parks and Dorey Park Farmers Market will host Second Saturdays, an evening summer concert series at the market. Concerts will start at 7 p.m. with gates opening an hour prior. The performer on July 12 is Gone Country. The band describes their music as, “Where the line-dancing, Honky Tonk sound of Brooks & Dunn meets the smooth, timeless melodies of Alan Jackson.” There will be food trucks and wine/beer sales on site.
