Virginia DMV customer-service centers to be closed Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1

All Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles full-service customer service centers will close at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 24 and be closed all day Dec. 25 and 26, as well as Jan. 1.
During those days, customers still will be able to complete more than 50 transactions online at dmv.virginia.gov, including renewing vehicle registration, starting an online driver’s license application, replacing or renewing a driver’s license, applying for a permit.
