Varina community meeting to include discussion of Title V air permits with DEQ

Varina District Supervisor Tyrone E. Nelson will host a Varina Community Meeting on Thursday, June 26 for a discussion of Title V air permits with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.
The permits are designed to improve compliance with the federal Clean Air Act by clarifying what source facilities must do to control air pollution, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Varina Area Library, 1875 New Market Road. Residents may participate in person or virtually via Webex. To participate by phone, dial 1-415-655-0002 and enter the access code 2305 442 6411 and, if prompted, the passcode 56584236.
