Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad to host community open house Sept. 21

The Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad will host an open house event Sunday, Sept. 21, from noon to 4 p.m. at its station, 1101 Horsepen Road.
The family-friendly event will feature free food, first aid and safety demonstrations, and hands-on activities for all ages. Guests will have the chance to explore the station, meet rescue squad members, enjoy a bounce house, receive free blood pressure checks and take part in a “touch-a-truck” experience with ambulances, fire trucks and police vehicles.
The event is designed to give the public an inside look at the squad’s work while also providing a fun, educational afternoon for families. It is open to the public.
