TJ Maxx to open new Henrico location

Off-price retailer TJ Maxx will open a new store at The Creeks at Virginia Center in Glen Allen Aug. 10.
The store, located at 9850 Brook Road, will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. seven days a week. TJ Maxx operates more than 1,300 stores in 49 states and Puerto Rico. The company's buyers work with thousands of brands and designers from around the world to source pieces at lower prices.
“We’re thrilled to join the Glen Allen community,” said TJ Maxx President Nancy Carpenter. “We look forward to providing local shoppers with an ever-changing selection of high-quality merchandise at exceptional value so they can express their true ‘maxx’ selves.”
During the store's grand opening Aug. 10, it will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In celebration of its new Glen Allen location, TJ Maxx will contribute to the local community by donating $10,000 to Virginia Home for Boys & Girls. The new store also will join all other stores nationwide in sponsoring Save the Children’s U.S. Programs through TJ Maxx’s annual in-store fundraising campaign.
