Roseshire's application now scheduled to be heard by Virginia Racing Commission Sept. 15 in Richmond

The Virginia Racing Commission meeting originally scheduled for Sept. 8 in New Kent County has been rescheduled to 1 p.m., Monday, Sept. 15 at the State Corporation Commission building at 1300 East Main Street in Richmond.
At the meeting, the commission is scheduled to consider whether to issue a license to the Roseshire Gaming Parlor planned in the Staples Mill Shopping Center in Henrico’s Near West End.
The facility intends to open this fall but needs approval from the VRC before it can do so. It's also awaiting a ruling by the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority about its application to serve alcohol at the venue.
