Golden Corral Restaurant, 4050 Gaskins Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: handwash signage is missing from several hand sinks throughout the facility; raw chicken found on blade and stand of meat slicer that hasn’t been used today; several containers of food (beans, collard greens and brisket) pulled from hot holding last night to walk-in cooler have exceeded the six-hour time limit to cool; temperatures of egg wash in ice at grill house and diced tomatoes and liquid eggs in ice at omelet station are elevated; cooking utensils are stored in water; observed gaskets with grime on cold units throughout facility; observed grease and food residue buildup on exterior of cookline equipment; dried food debris and rust found on wire racks; there are leaks at prewash faucet in ware washing room and at baker prep sink faucet; grease and water are collecting on floors throughout the kitchen, especially in front of cookline; observed grime and food debris behind cookline on floor and walls and under stationary equipment; there are broken/cracked tiles and low grout throughout kitchen; coving is in disrepair between ware washing room and kitchen.
The Fishin’ Pig, 4028-J Cox Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: food protection manager certificate is unavailable; open cup of water is stored on first prep unit on the line; single-family bathroom in dining room doesn’t have paper towels; soda nozzles in bar have debris along the interior; there is 0 ppm of chloride sanitizer in dishwasher at bar; temperature of pulled pork in bottom half of hot box is too low; two pans of macaroni and cheese in walk-in cooler are past their expiration dates; top shelf storing take-out containers above prep unit is covered in a layer of dark buildup; long cutting boards on prep units are scored; gasket liners are torn on all three deep chest freezers; facility doesn’t have chloride test strips for dishwasher or quat sanitizer test strips for three-compartment sink; mop isn’t hung or inverted to air dry.
Chianti Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria, 1304 Gaskins Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility doesn’t have a certified food protection manager; person in charge couldn’t provide employee health policy or written procedures for cleaning up vomit and diarrhea; employee plated meatball sub with bare hands; red buildup found inside soda gun; temperature of cream on cookline cart is elevated; no date marks found on many foods including lasagna, pasta salad and shredded cheese; to-go menu doesn’t contain a consumer advisory statement; dinner menu doesn’t contain asterisks linking foods that can be served undercooked to the consumer advisory; nasal spray found on shelf above prep cooler in prep room; buckets of sauce and a tub of cheese are stored directly on walk-in cooler floor; to-go containers are stored on dirty racks; gaskets are torn on walk-in and freezer lowboy; walk-in racks are rusty; cutting boards on cookline are scratched and stained; several items are dirty (walk-in cooler racks, three-door lowboy racks in prep room, shelves above prep cooler in prep room, dessert cooler vents, chains of dish shelf above sauce warmer, and sides of cooking equipment); there is a greasy coating on exterior of grease trap; floor behind cooking equipment and walk-in cooler floor are dirty.
Hooters of Richmond, 7912 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: dried food debris found on dicer; temperatures of diced tomatoes, sliced tomatoes, sour cream and lettuce in back prep unit are elevated because there is a large gap between prep unit lid allowing cold air to escape; secondary walk-in freezer isn’t operating properly; several fryer baskets are heavily bent; walk-in freezer connected to walk-in cooler has heavy ice buildup on fans; wire racks throughout are rusty; observed heavy grease buildup on exterior of flat top, back of fryers and cold unit gaskets; there are direct plumbing connections at produce prep sink and three-compartment sink; there are cracked tiles throughout kitchen, especially in walk-in cooler/freezer; floors are pitted throughout and collecting moisture; observed dried food debris and grime on floors under cookline, storage shelves and bar.
Arianna’s Italian Grill, 5107-09 Lakeside Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: food staff wearing a watch; several dishes are stacked while still wet; observed dust, dust, flour and food debris in reach-in cooler door gaskets throughout kitchen.
Wild Ones Play Café, 9131 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility doesn’t have a certified food protection manager; there isn’t a hand sink in the ware washing area.
Long John Silvers, 2206 East Laburnum Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: there is a torn door gasket on walk-in freezer; grease residue found on sides of deep fryers; reach-in freezer top is very dusty; observed debris and flour on wire storage racks; there is grime buildup on speed rack in walk-in cooler; cabinet interior under soda machine is dirty; observed black grime buildup on floor underneath drive-thru cash register; ceiling tile and vent in kitchen are dusty.
Wingstop, 4501 South Laburnum Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed buildup on racks near dishes, dry storage and walk-in; nozzle on hose at mop sink doesn’t have the proper backflow prevention device installed; there is low grouting near fryers and by ice machine and prep sink.

Glory Days Grill, 10466 Ridgefield Parkway – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: dish machines at bar and in kitchen are not sanitizing; observed pink and black residue inside ice maker; screw in door hinge is rusty; temperatures of boneless wings (reach-in cooler), coleslaw (ice bath) and milk (bar cooler) are elevated; food employee with long facial hair isn’t wearing a beard guard; metal wires are broken on all fryer baskets; gasket on two-door drawers is torn and they don’t close properly; observed grease and dust buildup on surfaces of wire storage racks, prep shelves, monitors, cables, tops of ovens, fryers, inside glass coolers, and on fan systems and beverage lines in walk-in coolers; there are leaks at hand sink at the bar and faucet at mop sink; sprayer attached to hose at the mop sink faucet is under pressure without the proper backflow prevention device installed; two light fixtures are missing protective shields.
Shula’s, 12042 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: hand sink in pantry area and hand sink in the bar are missing paper towels; soda nozzles in the bar are encrusted with debris along the interior; sliced cheese in walk-in cooler isn’t date marked; utensils on cookline are stored in standing water; top shelf on prep line storing take-out containers is covered in a layer of dark buildup; long cutting boards on prep units are scored and stained; first prep unit on the line is leaking; drying racks around the dishwasher are beginning to peel and rust; ingredient racks in dry storage area are covered in a layer of dust buildup; y-valve connected to mop sink faucet doesn’t have the appropriate backflow prevention device installed; women/family restroom doesn’t have a covered trash can.
Capital One Café, 11800 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: hand sink in back of facility doesn’t have paper towels; wire racks in reach-in refrigeration unit in back of facility are covered in old food buildup; y-valve connected to mop sink faucet doesn’t have the appropriate backflow prevention device installed; mop isn’t hung or inverted to air dry.
Chicken Fiesta, 7925 West Broad Street – No violations reported during a follow-up inspection.
Edward’s Catering, 8308 Fredonia Road – The following violation was reported during a routine inspection: no handwash signage is posted at kitchen hand sink.
America’s Best Wings, 4931 Nine Mile Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: hot water at kitchen hand sink doesn’t reach the required temperature; dried food debris found on can opener blade; mold is forming in ice chute of soda dispenser; breader and batter for frying are not marked with discard times; multiple bulk containers of flour, seasoning, rice, etc. are unlabeled; food is stored directly on walk-in freezer floor; staff is wearing a bracelet; food staff aren’t wearing any hair restraints; cutting boards are stained and scored; there is rust on multiple lower shelves in kitchen; observed grease buildup on sides of hot line cooking equipment; shelves underneath prep tables are dirty; walk-in cooler and freezer fan guards are dusty; reach-in cooler door gaskets throughout kitchen have food debris in them; kitchen hand sink is separating from the wall and pipes are leaking underneath it; pipes are leaking underneath three-compartment sink in kitchen; ceiling tile in kitchen is stained and dusty.

Sea by Thai Restaurant, 2452 Old Brick Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: curry sauces are being cooled in deep and covered containers in reach-in cooler; paint is peeling away on kitchen floor and it is no longer smooth and easily cleanable.
India K’ Raja Restaurant, 9051-9055 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility couldn’t provide written procedures for cleaning up vomit and diarrhea; temperature of chai tea on warmer is too low; temperatures of tomato sauce, sour cream, curry and cream in ice bath are elevated; bottle of eye drops stored over food on dry storage shelf; chicken is thawing on the floor; ice scoop handle is touching ice in large ice machine; gaskets are torn on double door reach-in cooler facing cookline and Coca Cola reach-in cooler; floor tile grouting in kitchen is low; two ceiling panels are torn.
