Police share details about Eastern Henrico shooting

Henrico Police have provided an update about a Wednesday night shooting in Highland Springs.

Henrico Police responded to the 100 block of South Cedar Avenue for the report of a shooting on March 11 at approximately 9:54 p.m.

"Once on scene, officers located an adult male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the hand," a police spokesperson said. "Members from Henrico Police’s Criminal Investigations Section responded out and are investigating this as a self-inflicted incident."
