In Loving Memory of Walter Harold Myers Jr.

Walter Harold “Harold Jr.” Myers Jr., 85, of Henrico, entered eternal rest on November 5, 2025, surrounded by his devoted wife of 66 years and their children. Born July 28, 1940, in Richmond, Va., he was the eldest of six children of the late Walter Harold Myers Sr. and Ruth McClennon Myers.

A man of quiet strength and deep faith, Harold Jr. dedicated his life to family, service, and community. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after nearly 50 years and was a proud Mason of Richmond Lodge #65 for more than five decades, serving as Worshipful Master and Secretary. A lifelong learner, he loved reading, gardening, and sharing wisdom with those around him.

He was a devoted member of Quioccasin Baptist Church for over 30 years.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Maxine Davis Myers; six children, Wayne, Tina, Walter III (Tammy), Michael (LaDonna), Zena (Robert), and Nicole; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four siblings, other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2025. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Saturday, November 15 at Quioccasin Baptist Church, 9011 Quioccasin Road followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Rev. Theodore T. Brown, Pastor. Interment church cemetery.

He will be forever missed and fondly remembered for his love, integrity, and unwavering devotion to family and faith.
