Thomas W. Adams, 94, of Henrico, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 60 years, Frances Harden Adams; parents, Larkin and Hattie Adams; son, Wayne Hillard; grandson, Joshua Jones; brothers, Aubrey Adams, Elmore Adams; and a sister, Phyllis Hastings (Jack)..
He was the past commander of the American Legion, Post 233 and Post 144 and was worshipful master of Thomas and Davis Lodge. He was a member of Varina Masonic Lodge 272, AF&AM. He was a longterm member of the tall cedars of Lebanon. He and his wife were longtime volunteers for the Jerry Lewis M.D. Telethon and Summer Camp. He was a longtime member of Carlisle Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Bee Adams (Donna); daughters, Wendy Bragg of Florida, and Belinda Davis (Mike); grandchildren, Brian Adams (Caitlyn), Daniel Adams, Travis Bragg and Bobbi Jo Marwitz (Eric); 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Riggleman and Diane Batkins (Bubba), and a large circle of extended family and friends.
