Obituary - Thomas Lee Moore Jr.

Thomas Lee Moore, Jr., 82, of Sandston, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Alice Moore; siblings, Jerry Moore, Johnny Moore, and Betty Woodson; daughters, Lori Wall, Kelly Belcher; stepdaughter, Wanda Hamilton.
Thomas was an Elevator Inspector and served in the U. S. Army and Virginia National Guard. He was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and he played keyboards, piano and guitar, which he played by ear in various local bands. He loved to camp, being outdoors and gardening, but especially loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Angela Moore; children, Suzette (Dan), Sherry (Michael); stepson, Gerry; brother, Donald Moore; and a large circle of extended family and friends including numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
The family will receive friends 3pm until 7pm, Tuesday, December 30 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, where a funeral service will be held 12pm, Wednesday, December 31. Burial will be at 2 pm at Signal Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Landmark Baptist Christian School.
