Taylor Henry Loving, 35, of Lakeside, Virginia, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Taylor is survived by his longtime fianceé and whom he called his wife, Ashley Marino; his beloved son, Philip James Loving; his parents, Mike and Cindy Loving; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his lifelong friend, Kristen Stout.

Growing up on Gibraltar Drive in Lakeside, Taylor was the kid everyone wanted to hang out with, and always wanted him to be on their team.  Taylor was very good at whatever the neighborhood decided, but his true passion has always been baseball.  Taylor was a little league legend and continued playing throughout middle and high school.  Taylor’s love for the outdoors started young.  The baseball field, on the golf cart with Mike (or learning a lifelong lesson about poison ivy) at the golf course with their dog, Slim, to hopping from yard to yard in the neighborhood. Taylor always loved an adventure.  Always outside with the neighborhood kids until Mike and Cindy called him in for dinner at 6 p.m. sharp. Taylor spent the majority of his youth in his little red rubber boots.  He lived in those boots and wore them in almost every picture. He may have been the only child in his household, but to Kristen, he was her brother and everyone else’s in the neighborhood.

Taylor was a bright ray of sunshine who would do anything to make someone smile.  He always made sure to ask anyone who looked sad if they needed a hug.  It has been confirmed that he did give the best hugs.  He would also give you the shirt off his back in the most literal sense.  Taylor was the stranger who would pull over to help you out on the side of the road and ask nothing in return.  He was just a great human being who always said “everyone love everyone” and “My last name is Loving.  How could I hate!”

Taylor’s good nature, infectious signature smile, charm, charisma, and generosity pale in comparison to the love that he had for Ashley and Philip.  He loved strong, and had love for all people in general.  Taylor never judged anyone for anything.  He made his mistakes growing up, but he also said having his wife and son meant everything, and he had literally accomplished everything he wanted in life.
