Obituary - Stephen Ralph Laulette

Stephen Ralph Laulette, age 55, of Henrico, Va., passed away in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. He was born in New Jersey on October 27, 1970, to Anthony and Diane Laulette. 

Stephen was known for his exceptional sense of humor and his love of Star Wars. Even though he was perfectly happy to stay at home and relax, he enjoyed spending time with his family. In his professional life, he was dedicated, detail-oriented, and hard-working. Stephen was a wonderful stepfather, who doted on his stepchildren, whom he loved and cared for as his own. Above all, Stephen was a kind and loving person. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Laulette; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Left to cherish Stephen’s memory is his wife of almost 12 years, Michele Laulette; his mother, Diane Laulette; his three stepchildren, Danielle, Bridget, and Thomas Scott; his sister Kim Scro (Gary); his brother, Anthony Laulette (David); two step-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. 

The family will be planning a memorial service for Stephen at a later date.
