Obituary - Sheri Glass Balderson

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheri Glass Balderson, 56, of Sandston, who passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
Sheri leaves behind her beloved husband, John M. Balderson, Sr.; two cherished sons, William Balderson of Pennsylvania and Kevin Balderson of Sandston; and her mother-in-law, Doris Balderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Shirley Glass; brother, Marvin Timothy; her son, Johnny Balderson, Jr.; and father-in-law, Guy Balderson.
Sheri was a devoted mother who loved fishing, Florida beaches, and music. With an adventurous spirit, she solo-flew an airplane at 16. Sheri graduated from Averett University in Danville and was a substitute teacher.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date by family and friends.
