Rosa Lee Pollard Winston, 98, of Henrico, departed this life to be with the Lord on Monday, October 27, 2025. She was born on August 15, 1927 to the late Royall and Wilhelmina Pollard.

She accepted Christ at an earlier age and was baptized at Moore Street Baptist Church. She also attended Fifth Baptist Church.

Rosa was educated in the Richmond Public School System and was a member of the Armstrong High School Class of 1943. She furthered her education at Virginia Union University where she earned a BA degree. Her teaching career began in the Bowling Green School System. She later began working in the Richmond Public School System until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of the Nannie Jones Perkins Chapter No. 161 of the Order of Eastern Star of Virginia P.H.A. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded death by her husband, William Thomas Winston and two brothers, Reginald V. Pollard, Sr. and Courtney Pollard, Sr.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her loving and devoted daughters, Christie Rasberry (Calvin) of Glen Allen and Nell W. Jackson (Rodney) of Mechanicsville, five loving grandchildren, Hunter Wallace III, Crystal Willis (Floyd), Corey, Brie and Dallas Jackson; five great-grandchildren, Harper, Natalie, Charlie, Maisyn and Harrison; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2025. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 4 at Roselawn Memory Gardens, 13389 Mountain Road, Glen Allen.
