Rolan Lynn Bryant, 71, of Sandston, VA, went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rolan and Opal Bryant, and his brother, John Bryant.

Rolan is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Loretta C. Bryant; his son, Allen Bryant; his brothers, Toby (and Wife Regina) and Jerry; his sister, Dana Bryant, and her son, Daniel Bryant.

Rolan was a member of Babcock Masonic Lodge #322. He was also a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and served for over 10 years with the Henrico Volunteer Rescue Squad.

He always lent his time and skills to help when called upon and was a cherished “handyman” to his friends and family. Rolan was known for his dry, dad-style humor and his ability to make people smile, even in the darkest of times. He approached life with a steady, practical mindset and a willingness to work through problems while always trying to see the bright side.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Bliley’s Funeral Home, 3801 Augusta Avenue, Richmond, VA 23230. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Bliley’s, with a reception to follow.
