Michael Christian Schiavo, 29, of Glen Allen, VA, passed away on September 17, 2025. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vincent Schiavo, Joseph Saxton, and Theresa Saxton. He is survived by his parents, Chris and Susan Schiavo; Sister, Lauren Mason; Brother-in-Law, Craig Mason; Nephew, Silas Mason; Niece, Lydia Mason; and Grandmother, Katherine Schiavo. Michael graduated from Deep Run High School and Regent University with a degree in Biblical Studies and Theology. Michael had a passion for lifelong learning, reading and writing. His greatest joys were good food and spending time with family and friends. To be loved by Michael was a blessing and his impact will endure forever.
Family and Friends will be received from 4pm to 8pm on Monday, September 22 at Bliley’s Funeral Home at 3801 Augusta Ave Richmond, VA 23230. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23 at Christ Church Episcopal, 5000 Pouncey Tract Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059.
