Obituary - Melvin Earl Jones

Melvin E. Jones, 76, of Henrico, died July 6, 2025. Surviving are his mother, Mable J. Jones; three daughters, Tonya Johnson, Yudrawnda Lancaster (Terrance) and Monica Jones (Marlon Davis); son, Melvin E. Jones, Jr. (Shamica); six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters, Carolyn Walker and Patricia Brockenborough; two brothers, Ronnie Jones (Vanessa) and Khalifah Ali (Cheryl Ali); nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Monday, July 14 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Interment private.
