Obituary - Marie Ayers Patterson
Marie A. Patterson, 89, beloved mother to 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, of Richmond, VA, passed away on March 19th, leaving a void her family cannot fill. Marie was a devoted mother to Linda, Judy, and Crystal. Additionally, Marie had a career in sales and later as a school bus aide for the County of Henrico. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy and they felt that in the love and support she provided. Marie had a big heart, she was always ready to help those in need with food, diapers, clothing, etc. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack O. Patterson and daughter, Linda P. Johnson (Kurt), and is survived by sister and dear friend, Gloann "Gloria" A. Henderson, daughters, Judy Frost (Chuck) and Crystal Sarvay (John), grandchildren, Amy Johnson (Frank), Jessica Isemann (Cory), David Sarvay (Hannah), and Jordan Sarvay ( Dawn), and great grandchildren, Aubrey, Autumn, Gracie, Trevor, Zoey, Emma and Logan, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
A visitation will be held on March 25, 2026, at Bliley's Funeral Home, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, VA from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm.
Services for Marie will be held at 10:30am on March 26, 2026, at Bliley's Funeral Home, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, VA.
Interment to follow at Westhampton Memorial Gardens.
