Obituary - Margaret S. Hardin

Margaret S. Hardin, 104, of Henrico passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
She was a member of Carlisle Ave. Baptist Church and lived a long, full life. She always had a large garden and loved to dance and play bingo and cards. She will always be loved and missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, Frank Halterman, Edgar McGhee and Garland Hardin; son, Dennis McGhee; and daughter-in-law, Jean Halterman.
She is survived by two sons, Steven F. Halterman and Edgar O. McGhee, Jr. (Pat); two granddaughters, Autum Maynard (Donnie) and Amber Halterman; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.
A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
