Obituary - Lois Elizabeth Smith Albritton-Pace

Lois Elizabeth Smith Albritton-Pace, a women of deep faith passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, in Henrico, Virginia at the age of 97. She often said she was blessed with two wonderful husbands. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Calvin Albritton, of 33 years and Floyd Eldridge Pace of 27 years.

Family and Career

Lois is survived by her children: Kenneth Buck Albritton and Calvin Eugene Albritton. She was preceded in death by her sons John Calvin Albritton Jr. and Jerry Lee Albritton. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as sister, Barbara Melton.

She worked at Lucky Strike tobacco company. After numerous other career positions, she retired from the VA State Corporation Commission.

Personal Legacy

Known for her kindness and loving nature, Lois was cherished by all. No matter the hardship, Lois could be heard saying how blessed she was, always seeing the positive and thanking God. A true inspiration to so many, she will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

Graveside services will be held on March 30, 2026, at 2:00pm at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
