Obituary - Lisse P. Hildebrandt

Lisse Hildebrandt, 71, of Henrico, VA (by way of Detroit), passed away on October 31, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Beverlee Palmer, and survived by her daughter Katie Hildebrandt, her brothers, Richard and Robert Palmer, her nieces Andy (Robert), Julie (Robert), and Erin (Richard), her nephew Jon (Richard), her beloved cat Poppy, her cherished friends, and her many wonderful students.
Lisse taught English to international students at VCU for 30 years. This was her true passion, one she continued pursuing into her retirement as a volunteer with Jewish Family Services of Richmond.
Memorial services are not yet planned, but will take place in Spring or early Summer.
Her family gives their sincere thanks and gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of St. Mary's Hospital for their compassion and care, and asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Jewish Family Services of Richmond.
