Mr. Lewis D. Wootton, 92, of Sandston, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Wootton; daughter, Cheryl Glaspie, and is survived by his daughter, Evelyn W. Green (Michael Green); son in law, John Glaspie; grandson, Colby Cridlin (Billie Cridlin); great-grandchildren, Daniel Cridlin and Joy Lynne Cridlin; and a large circle of extended family and friends.
He will be missed by all.
The family will receive friends 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm, Tuesday, October 28 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, where a funeral will be held 11 am, Wednesday, October 29.
Interment will follow at 3 pm in Center Cemetery, Cumberland, VA.
