Obituary - Lana Aleene Price
Lana Aleene Price, 76, of Chesterfield, Va. peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 22,2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Wilma Peters, her husband, Lee G. Price and her grandson, Timmy Vaughn. She is survived by her loving children, Billy McAfee (Tina), Lori Trainham (Ray) and Joshua Price. Lana “Nana” will be remembered for the love that she generously gave her grandchildren Nicci Gainey (Marcus), Christopher Skelton, Hailey Chase (Hunter) and Brooke Cassell (Corey). As well as her great-grandchildren, Weston and Aveley Chase and Tyler and Kameron Vaughan. In addition to being a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother and grandmother, Lana, graduated from the Stuart Circle School of Nursing and went on to dedicate 40+ years to a selfless nursing career. Most of that career was spent at Stuart Circle Hospital and in her latter years at St. Mary’s Hospital where she showed kindness to the countless patients that she cared for and where she was a cherished colleague to many. The family would like to thank Lana’s special caregivers from James River Hospice (Farmville) and Sandy Graham for their love and care over the last year. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia ,10300 Pridesville Rd. Amelia, Virginia 23002.
