Joyce Drumheller Wingo, 68, of Henrico, Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025.
Born in Richmond, Virginia, Joyce lived a life grounded in love, compassion, and deep devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary L. Drumheller and Herbert James Drumheller, as well as her brother, Daniel Warren Drumheller.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Gary Wingo; and her three children, Nicole Chrimes, Kristen Johnson (Jeff Johnson), and Matthew Stuckey (Kathryn Stuckey). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Aiden Chrimes, Dylan Johnson, and Avery Johnson. Matthew’s wife, Kathryn Stuckey, also shared in Joyce’s close family circle. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Hawkins; and brother-in-law William Hawkins. Joyce was a cherished aunt to their three sons, William, James, and David Hawkins; and a beloved great-aunt to six great-nieces.
A memorial service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 14 at Graceland Baptist Church, 975 Dorset Rd., Powhatan, VA 23139 Powhatan, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Graceland Baptist Church.
Joyce will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
