James "Jimmy" Alfred Meador, 95, of Henrico, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family and joins his wife, Jean Ann, in eternal rest.
He is survived by his five children, Judith Ann Davis (Terry), Jacqueline Ann Walton, Jennifer Anne Ball (Danny), James A. Jr. (Shannon), Jeffrey A.; and a total of 40 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Anthony; and granddaughter, Taylor Marie.
He was an avid rabbit hunter, loved his dogs, and the New York Yankees. Jimmy was hardworking, had an abundance of friends, and touched the lives of many.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 1637 Williamsburg Rd., Richmond, VA 23231, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
