DENZLER, Grace H. “Tee”, 97, of Varina, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John, and her brother MP “Boots” Hughes.
She is survived by her son, John (Dinah); one granddaughter, Tara (JC); one grandson, Richard “Rick” Denzler (Julie); five great- grandchildren, Mazie “Grace” Harmon, “John” Caleb Harmon, Sawyer, Bradley, and Drew Denzler; several nieces and nephew; one special niece, Terri Hughes; and great niece, Tate.
A heartfelt thanks to her extra special caregiver, Cathy Goodman, and also Angel Montgomery, and Audrey Ritteneour. We would like to express our appreciation to her amazing team from Suncrest Hospice and Dr. Michael Sheehan, one special friend since childhood, Margaret Anderson.
She worked in the banking industry her entire career, working for Bank of Virginia from 1957-1986 where she retired as a Vice President. The remainder of her life was spent loving and caring for her family.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2pm with funeral at 2pm, Monday October 27, 2025 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond.
A graveside service will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
