Obituary - David Folliard Bernier

David Folliard Bernier, 55, of Glen Allen, Virginia, passed away on May 11, 2025, at VCU Medical Center surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on February 5, 1970, to Claude Georges and Dorothy (Folliard) Bernier.

David was married to the love of his life Kristine Hires Bernier, with whom he had two beautiful children Hannah and Sean.

David was known for his unwavering dedication to his family. His greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones and embracing the simple pleasures of life—whether it was playing golf, relaxing at the beach, cheering on his children at countless sporting events, or watching the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Commanders with a cold Bud Light in hand. His presence had a special way of making everyone feel loved and valued. David's joyful laugh and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday June 29th at 3:00pm at Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 4825 Pouncey Tract Road, Glen Allen, VA 23059. We will host a Celebration of Life Open House following the service, more details to come.
