Danny Windford Jarrell, 81, of Richmond, Virginia, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025.
Danny is survived by his son, Michael Jarrell, and daughter-in-law, Cynthia; his grandsons, Max Hunter Jarrell and Preston Wesley Jarrell; and his granddaughters, Caroline Grace and Amanda Margaret. He is remembered and loved by many extended family members, friends, and community members whose lives were touched by his warmth and kindness.
Danny was known for his outgoing spirit, warm smile, and genuine love for people. A gifted and creative businessman, he owned and operated Danny's Flower Market in Henrico County for many decades. His artistry and dedication earned him multiple "Florist of the Year" awards, and his shop became a cherished part of the community.
After many successful years in the floral industry, Danny continued his commitment to serving others by working as a funeral director assistant at Bliley's Funeral Home. His compassion, patience, and gentle presence brought comfort to families during their most difficult times.
Danny's legacy lives on in the beauty he created, the people he comforted, and the love he shared throughout his life. His family will forever cherish his memory.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Rd., Henrico, VA. Interment will be private.
