Mrs. Carol Levengood Hall, age 85, of Glen Allen, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

Carol served as a medical secretary and homemaker and attended Cold Harbor Road Church of Christ.

She was an avid collector of jewelry, antique furniture, antique ceramics, various decorative antique art pieces and other indoor and outdoor items. She would be considered by many as an expert in refinishing old furniture pieces. She never stopped searching for an item to add to her collection. Carol and Clarence spent their leisure time camping at various places throughout Virginia for many years.

Carol was raised by her older sister, Bertha, and her husband, Doug, after the death of her mother when she was young. She went to school in her early years on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Browning, Montana. The family moved to different states throughout her childhood but she always considered Montana her home. She went back to visit family there often and she would tell stories of her childhood there to her children and grandchildren. She settled in Virginia in 1966 and she and her husband later built a house on Mountain Road in Glen Allen, Virginia, where they lived for more than 40 years.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters; Carla Cupp (Danny), Connie Henshaw (Rick), and her son Carlton Randall Phillips, Jr.; grandchildren; Gary Norton (Christina), Angela Jester (Nick), Crystal Paulette (Stephen), Lisa Wright (Josh), Carlton Phillips, III (Dallas) and Tucker Smitherman; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Lily Norton, Alex and Finley Jester, Averylynn, Gracyn, Ellisyn, and Corryn Paulette, and Brynlee Wright; as well as many nieces and nephews including Mary Lee Wippert, whom she grew up with.

Phillips, her sisters, Evaleen Weter (Julian), Bertha Gold (Doug), Wilma Burke (Jim), her brothers, Leo Levengood (Josephine) and Willard Levengood (Marylou).
