Obituary - Beverly Morgan Waters

Beverly Morgan Waters, 65, of Henrico, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 13, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lottie Morgan (née Burnett), and her husband, Roland Waters.  She is survived by her sons, Michael Waters (Caitlin), Matthew Waters (Jenny), and Morgan Waters; and grandson Rowan Waters.

Beverly was born on January 25, 1960, in Henrico, Virginia. She worked as an insurance agent for Home Beneficial for many years until the company relocated to Tennessee. Not wanting to uproot her family, Beverly left Home Beneficial and then found work at various gas stations in the Henrico area.

She loved God and was a longtime member of Fairmount Christian Church, where she had many friends and was an active participant in church activities and her Sunday bible study group. She was an avid Washington Commanders fan, never missing a game, and she was also a big fan of Star Trek, the love of which she shared with her sons.

There will be a visitation at 3:00 pm, immediately followed by a service at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Fairmount Christian Church, 6502 Creighton Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Let’s Go Services, which Beverly often used for transportation to doctor appointments, and she became friends with several of the volunteers.
