Obituary - Audrey Callison

Audrey “Sandie” Callison, 86, of Henrico, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Born in South Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Gerken and Sarah Louise Evarts Gerken. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Frank, Joe, and Kittie.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Gean Callison; children, Marc Loving, Barbara Crim, Andy Callison, and Will Callison; a host of beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother, Tom Gerken.
Sandie was a longtime member of Grove Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed getting out and being active whether it be singing in the church choir or reading to students at Mary Munford Elementary. She loved spending time in her garden, sewing, and traveling- she made it to all 50 states! She is loved and will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will held at 11:00 am Friday, September 26, 2025 at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10:00 am to 11:00. Interment will follow the service at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
