Obituary - Ann Minter Hardy

Ann Minter Hardy was born on February 5, 1930, and peacefully passed away on September 13, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nora Minter; her beloved husband of 65 years, Harold Thomas Hardy Sr.; her brother, John L. Minter Jr. (Agnes); and her sisters, Ruth Carreras (Joe) and Betty Barnett.
Cherishing her memory are her five sons: Tom (Linda), Ron (Diane), John (Theresa), Bruce (Denise), and Randy (Karen). She leaves behind 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ann was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She dedicated her life as a homemaker to her husband, sons, and their families for 79 years, retiring only at her passing.
As a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church for 86 years, Ann's faith in God provided her with guidance, wisdom, and support to nurture and care for her family.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
