THE HENRICO COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING IN THE BOARD ROOM OF THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING IN THE GOVERNMENT CENTER AT PARHAM AND HUNGARY SPRING ROADS, 6:00 P.M.,THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2025, TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

ORDINANCE— To Amend and Reordain Section 24-4205 Titled “Principal Use Table,” Section 24-4323 Titled “Commercial Uses: Retail Sales and Services,” Section 24-5110 Titled “Minimum Number of Off-Street Parking Spaces,” Section 24-5508 Titled “Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design,” Section 24-8405 Titled “Commercial Use Classification,” and Section 24-8501 Titled “Accessory Uses, Temporary Uses, and Other Terms” of the Code of the County of Henrico to Delete All References to “Vaping Stores,” Add “Recreational Substances Retail Store” as a Regulated Use Type, and Allow “Recreational Substances Retail Stores” by Provisional Use Permit in the B-3 and M-1 Districts Subject to Certain Requirements

At the conclusion of the hearing, the Commission may recommend the Board of Supervisors adopt the proposed ordinance, with or without amendments, or continue the matter for further deliberation.
