ORDER OF PUBLICATION

The object of the above-styled matter is for the Department of Social Services of the County of Henrico, Virginia to obtain permanent custody of Legend Pinkston and to terminate the residual parental rights of My’riah Cooper-Wilburn, the biological mother of Legend Pinkston, so that the child may be placed for legal adoption. It appearing to the court from the information obtained on an affidavit from a witness for the Department of Social Services of the County of Henrico that the location of My’riah Cooper-Wilburn, the biological mother of Legend Pinkston, is unknown, and that reasonable efforts have been made to locate My’riah Cooper-Wilburn, the biological mother, with no success.

It is ORDERED that My’riah Cooper-Wilburn, the biological mother of Legend Pinkston, contact her court-appointed counsel, Tammy Sossei at (804) 593-4141.
It is further ORDERED that My’riah Cooper-Wilburn, the biological mother of Legend Pinkston, appear on the 13th day of August 2025, at 10 o’clock a.m., before the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of the County of Henrico at 4201 East Parham Road, Henrico, Virginia 23228 and do what is necessary to protect her interests.


Pursuant to Section 8.01-317 of the Code of Virginia, the Court deems proper to dispense with publication of this notice in a newspaper and authorizes that this notice may be placed electronically on a site reasonably calculated to apprise the party named herein of the pendency of this action and afford them an opportunity to present their objections, to-wit, HenricoCitizen.com.
