Sheetz celebrated the opening of its 807th store Sept. 11 in Henrico with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, giveaways, and donations to local charities.   

The new store, located at 9927 Mayland Drive, is the chain's fourth in Henrico County. 

Store Manager Crystal Church, a Henrico resident with children at Pocahontas Middle School and and Carver Elementary School, wielded the scissors for the ribbon-cutting (above).

Nick Zweerink (above, second from left), an athlete representing Special Olympics of Virginia, joined Church and SOVA representatives Sara Harder (left) and Amber Bayton (far right) in accepting a check for their organization and spoke about his participation in athletic events and activities.

Representatives from FeedMore Mike Nelson (above, left) and James Woody also accepted a check from Church for their organization, while Brenda Moore of Glen Allen (below) celebrated winning the grand prize drawing for a $2,500 Sheetz Z-Card.
