Kevin Connelly of Henrico was named to the spring 2025 dean’s list with highest honors at McDaniel College in Maryland. To be eligible for this honor, students must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.90 for the semester.


The following local students were named to the spring 2025 dean’s list at Shenandoah University in Virginia: Xavier Thompson, Lucy Van Lenten, Lillian Berger, Cassidy Holmes and Tabitha Piwowarski, of Henrico; and Caden Sherman, Jackson Smith, Braxton Snead, Thomas Terry, Kyrie Beiler, Parker Bell, Clara Chenault and Tyler Dossat, of Glen Allen. To qualify for the dean’s list, full-time students must earn a minimum 3.50 grade point average for the semester.


The following local students were named to the spring 2025 dean’s list at Bridgewater College in Virginia: Colin Clegg, Margaret Deener, Zhane’ Hines, Maisen Jenkins, Jadyn Reece, Parker Sale, Jackson Wicker and Grace Elder, of Henrico; Lucas Bauer, Autumn Just, Valerie Lutz, Chad Martin, Alison Nickels and Robert Rhoden, of Glen Allen; and Hannah Mahan, of Sandston. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the semester.


The following local students were named to the spring 2025 president’s list at the College of Charleston in South Carolina: Madalyn Rutherford, of Glen Allen; and Madelyn Akins, Emma Brewbaker, Amelia Grymes, Elizabeth Krey, Lily Slye and Page Yauger, of Henrico. To qualify for the president’s list, students with a minimum of 12 credit hours must earn a 3.800 or higher grade point average for the semester.


The following local students were named to the spring 2025 dean’s list at the College of Charleston in South Carolina: Sarah Clark and Samantha Horn, of Glen Allen; and Olivia Brownstein, Madeleine Carithers, Jane Featherstone, Helena Huff, Celia Turner and Campbell Wood, of Henrico. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students with a minimum of 12 credit hours must earn a 3.500 or higher grade point average for the semester.


Alyssa McGinnis of Henrico was named to the spring 2025 president’s list at Miami University in Ohio. Students eligible for this honor are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for the semester.
