John Edmonds of Henrico recently graduated summa cum laude from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Edmonds earned a degree in Finance.

Sarah Kang and Luke York of Henrico were named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massasschusettes. WPI doesn’t compute a grade point average for inclusion on the dean’s list; students are named to the list based on the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and hands-on projects. Kang, a member of the Class of 2028, is majoring in Aerospace Engineering. York, also of the Class of 2028, is majoring in Robotics Engineering.

Andrew Baker of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at Bob Jones University in South Carolina. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.00-3.74 grade point average for the semester. Baker is a junior majoring in Business Administration.

Aidan Wilson of Henrico was named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at Washington College in Maryland. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a minimum 3.50 grade point average for the semester.

Kelly Michaud of Glen Allen was named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Leah Carlson of Glen Allen and Bennett Long of Henrico were named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania. To achieve this academic honor, students must earn a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester.

The following local students were named to the fall 2024 president’s list at the University of Alabama: Sophie Sands, of Glen Allen; and Logan Brown, Caroline Porterfield and Lucy Whitaker, of Henrico. To qualify for the president’s list, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average for the semester.
