Mechanicsville man charged with murder after body found in Henrico woods

A Mechanicsville man faces murder charges after a body was discovered in a wooded area off Staples Mill Road in Henrico County last year.
Nickolas Ryan Driscoll, 41, of Mechanicsville, was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault in connection with the October 2024 homicide.
The indictments were obtained through the Henrico Grand Jury on July 14.
The victim was identified as Cecil Lee Ryan Jr., 58, of Henrico.
