Henrico Humane Society's 3rd annual Bark in the Park at Crump Park in Glen Allen raised more than $20,000 for homeless pets.
The event, which benefits the nonprofit rescue organization, featured a 2K dog walk, parade, inflatables and vendors offering a variety of goods and services on Saturday morning.
Melissa Golden, the Henrico Humane Society's vice president, said turnout for the event was fantastic.
"It has been great to see so many people on the field, so many dogs — and that's one of the things that people love to do when they come to this event is just look at all the dogs, because there's every kind of breed imaginable and then all kinds of mixes," Golden said.
