Donors give $60,000 to launch endowments for Tucker and Freeman high schools

The wealthiest private high school in the United States has an endowment of more than $1 billion, with many other private schools following suit with endowments in the millions.

But it is uncommon for public high schools to have endowments – and that's something that can lead to massive funding gaps between public and private schools, said Michael Bor, the founder of a new organization called The Endowment Project Foundation. Click here to read more
