Free national teen driving program ‘BRAKES’ coming to Richmond Raceway Sept. 6-7
A nationally recognized teen driver training program aimed at saving lives will make its Metro Richmond debut next month in Henrico County. BRAKES (Be Responsible and Keep Everyone Safe), a free pro-active defensive driving course, will hold sessions Sept. 6 and 7 at Richmond Raceway Complex, 600 East Laburnum Avenue.

Red Cross teams up with PEANUTS to offer mystery prizes at blood drives
The American Red Cross has unveiled a new partnership with PEANUTS to encourage blood donations during a typically challenging time of year for the organization. Between August 29 and September 21, blood donors will receive an exclusive Red Cross x PEANUTS mystery bag containing one of four special T-shirt designs.
