The curtain has risen on on Henrico Theatre Company’s 46th season, and this year the community troupe is broadening its reach with productions staged at both The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen and Henrico Theatre in Highland Springs.

Sponsored by Henrico Recreation and Parks, HTC long has been the resident company at The Cultural Arts Center and will present three more productions there this season (following Moon Over Buffalo, which ran last month):

Once Upon a Mattress (Nov. 7–23) — A musical retelling of “The Princess and the Pea,” directed by Amy Perdue;

Getting Sara Married (May 1–17, 2026) — A bright romantic comedy from Sam Bobrick, directed by Amber dePass;

Leading Ladies (July 17–Aug. 2, 2026) — Another Ludwig comedy, this one following two struggling actors who hatch a scheme to pose as heirs, directed by Richard Koch.

Tickets for the shows are available in person at The Cultural Arts Center, by calling (804) 501-5859 or (804) 261-2787, or online at artsglenallen.com.

This week, HTC also announced that it will offer three productions at the Henrico Theatre as part of the theatre’s 13th Henrico Live season:

Blues, Blues, and Little More Blues (Oct. 3-12) — A musical revue directed by Amber dePass;

Twelve Angry Jurors (March 6-15, 2026) — A drama adapted by Sherman L. Sergel;

Bravo for Broadway (June 5-14, 2026) — A musical revue directed by Amy Perdue.

Tickets for Henrico Theatre shows are available as a season package for Henrico Live or individually, at henricolive.com or in person at the theatre during box office hours (Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m.).
